How can I cancel/verify an alarm from my smart phone?

Cancel/Verify will be active in the Alarm.com app for 2 minutes after the alarm signal is sent.  When you press and hold either Cancel Alarm or Verify Alarm, a signal is sent to Wave’s monitoring team and communicates the selection. Depending at what stage the monitoring team is at with handling the original alarm signal, you may still receive a phone call.

 

How to use this feature:

  1. When the system is in alarm, log into the Customer app.
  2. Press and hold Cancel Alarm for 3 seconds.
  3. A confirmation screen will pop-up to let users know the signal has been canceled..

Use this same method to verify alarm if you know you want to confirm dispatch of emergency services; no need to wait for the phone call from Wave.
