After you've reset your cable box, you may notice that the guide does not come back up immediately. Some of our rental cable boxes need to download guide data which may take extra time.
- Motorola Cable Boxes
Immediately after reset, guide data will say "To Be Announced." Within the first hour after the box has been reset, the guide will begin to populate for the rest of the day. It may take a full 24-48 hours for the guide to become populated for two weeks ahead.
If your guide data is not loading within these timeframes, or if you see that the message "To Be Announced" is displaying on your guide without the box having been reset, please call our 24/7 technical support line for further assistance at 1-866-928-3123.
- Arris DVR
The guide comes up within a few minutes of powering up the box.
If your guide is missing information after a reset, or without the box having been reset at all, please call our 24/7 technical support line for further assistance at 1-866-928-3123.
The guide data is downloaded via your internet connection and is stored with an 8-hour buffer. After a standard power cycle (rebooting the device normally) guide information should be available as soon as the TiVo has booted up. After extended power outages, it may take up to 24 hours to load the full two weeks of programming information. The TiVo guide information is downloaded through the internet, so the loading time is dependent on the speed of your internet connection. If your internet connection is having issues, this may affect the TiVo's ability to load guide information.
If you are missing guide information after a reset, or without the TiVo having been reset at all, please call our 24/7 technical support line for further assistance at 1-866-928-3123.
- Evolution DTA
The Evolution digital video adapters do not have a built-in guide. In order to receive programming information for your area, you can use the local guide channel, or an online programming guide.
