Checking Email While Traveling

In an effort to prevent abuse of our email server, customers are required to connect to our email server using secure “travel” settings when checking their email from a non-Wave internet connection. This usually happens when customers are out of town, or using their cell phone to check email remotely. Simply adjust your email program to the settings below:

Travel Outgoing Settings

(Use this when you are NOT on a Wave Broadband Internet connection):

Server: mail.wavecable.com
Username: your email address without “@wavecable.com”
Password: your password
Port: 537
SSL: on
